SALARY: $20.73 (NEGOTIABLE)

Shift Differential:
Monday-Thursday (6pm to 6am) + $1.00 per hour worked
Friday 4pm to Saturday 4am       + $3.00 per hour worked
Saturday (4am to 4pm)                + $2.00 per hour worked
Saturday (4pm to 4am)                + $3.00 per hour worked 
Sunday 4am to Monday 6am       + $2.00 per hour worked


POSITION SUMMARY:
Accomplish the Marketing Department objectives by assisting in the planning, organizing, promoting guest satisfaction and directing of all functions required to operate and maintain department activities and services. Ensure all services are provided effectively and efficiently to meet the needs of the Oneida Casino customers in accordance with federal standards.  Maintain confidentiality of all privileged information. Continuation of this position is contingent upon funding allocations.


DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Provide for the delivery of excellent customer service for all internal and external customers of the Player Club at all times and in all activities.  Establish and maintain effective working relationships with all internal and external customers of Oneida Tribal operations.  Develop solutions for customer concerns and continuous focus on customer service as our top priority.
  • Provide leadership direction for all Player Club personnel.  Lead Player Club management activities, inconclusive of but not limited to: strategic planning, budget development, and performance review processes.  Ensure personnel procedures are developed, implemented, utilized and effective. Ensure effective leadership practices are in place and adhered to.  Ensure employee performance review, counseling, development and recognition activities are in place and utilized effectively. Continually focus on improvements in all Player Club activities to ensure personnel growth and organizational effectiveness is continually addressed.
  • Ensure all Player Club personnel understand their duties and responsibilities and have the resources available to carry them out. Establish performance measures for all activities of the Player Club. Monitor work performance and take corrective actions to ensure the responsibilities of Player Club personnel are carried out. Efficiently manage the annual Player Club Department budget. Ensure all personnel adhere to all established personnel policies and procedures and departmental standard operating procedures.
  • Assess and analyze all work performance activities for the purpose of continually improving any area. Ensure systems are in place which guarantees activities are completed and guarantee results. Ensure systems and people are aligned to provide results established in all areas. Ensure training goals are aligned with Oneida Casino's strategic plan.  Make improvements as needed and recommend improvements to Players Club Manager.
     
STANDARD QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Ability to communicate efficiently and effectively both verbally and in writing.
  • Ability to establish and maintain good working relationships with the individuals of varying social and cultural backgrounds.
  • Must adhere to strict confidentiality in all matters. (Must sign a confidentiality statement prior to employment.)
  • Must be willing and able to obtain additional education and training.
  • Must pass a pre-employment drug screening.  Must adhere to the Tribe's Drug and Alcohol Free Workplace Policy during the course of employment.
  • Must pass a background security check with the Oneida Nation in order to meet the Employment Eligibility Requirements, Tribal/State Compact and/or Oneida Nation Gaming Ordinance as they pertain to the position. A temporary license or Gaming License issued by the Oneida Gaming Commission is required as a condition of employment and continuing employment within the Oneida Nation's Gaming Division.
  • A valid driver's license or occupational driver's license, reliable transportation, and insurance are required.  Must obtain a Wisconsin driver's license or occupational driver's license within thirty (30) days of employment if applicant has an out-of-state driver's license.  Must be authorized as eligible to operate a personal vehicle under the Oneida Nation's Vehicle Driver Certification and Fleet Management Law prior to actual start date.  Must maintain driver's eligibility as a condition of employment.
     
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Must be eighteen (18) years of age or older.
  • Must be an enrolled member of the Oneida Tribe of Indians of Wisconsin.
  • Associate's Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Communications or related field.
  • Two (2) years work experience in customer service, marketing, hospitality or public relations;
  • One (1) year in a supervisory or lead capacity; an equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
     
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS/WORK ENVIRONMENT: 
  • Frequently walk, sit, stand.  
  • Occasionally stand, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl, lift and/or move up to twenty-five (25) pounds.
  • Work environment may NOT be smoke, noise, or dust free.
  • Work is generally performed in a casino setting with a higher noise level. 
  • Evening, weekend, and/or holiday work will be required.
  • A Tuberculosis (TB) Screening and/or TB Skin Test is required within thirty (30) days of employment and annually thereafter as required.
