(Employees will receive 5% below the negotiated pay rate during their probationary status.)

  POSITION SUMMARY
Accomplish the Family Services Department objectives by providing program support to the Yon^haliyo (Domestic Abuse) Program to include intake services, grant management and administrative support. Continuation of this position is contingent upon funding allocations.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Practice excellent customer service skills at all times to include, but not limited to, addressing customer and case needs courteously and promptly (Customer service provided shall be in line with the organizations “Good Mind” core values).
2. Develop and maintain positive working relationships with Family Services team, internal/external working partners.
3. Conducts program intakes and data entry for the domestic abuse program.
4. Grant management to include; completing grant applications, narratives, budgets, required reporting, ensuring compliance, and required data collection.
5. Assist in the development, monitoring, and maintaining of budgets.
6. Complete required reports for the department, organization and/or funding source in a timely manner.
7. Prepare and complete required documentation such as correspondences, reports, memos, forms, directories, and communications as requested.
8. Coordinate the planning and implementation of community education and awareness events or any special meetings hosted by the department/program.
9. Update and maintain program marketing efforts. Maintain accurate program information on website and other social media platforms.
10. Assist in developing, implementing, and monitoring department goals and objectives.
11. Attend and participate in all required meetings and events as required by the department, program and grants.
12. Ensure the maintenance of confidential client records; ensuring pertinent, accurate, and current information.
13. Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, classes and conferences; reviewing professional publications; establishing networks; participating in professionally related organizations.
14. Adhere to all Tribal, State and Federal Laws, Personnel Policies and Procedures, Tribal Standard Operating Procedures, and Area and Program Strategic Plans and Policies.
15. Maintain strict department security, confidentiality, and quality to meet professional standards of the department.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS/WORK ENVIRONMENT:
1. Frequently walk and sit; reach with hands and arms.
2. Occasionally stand and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; lift and/or move up to twenty-five (25) pounds.
3. Ability to work flexible and extended hours and various work schedules, as needed.
4. Work is generally performed in an office setting with a moderate noise level.
5. A Tuberculosis (TB) Screening and/or 2 step TB Skin Test is required within thirty (30) days of employment and annually thereafter as required.

STANDARD QUALIFICATIONS:
1. Knowledge of the Oneida Community, its history and culture with the ability to integrate into work.
2. Knowledge of applicable federal, state, county and local laws, regulations, and requirements.
3. Skill in preparing, reviewing, and analyzing grant reports.
4. Skill in establishing program goals, objectives and evaluations.
5. Skill in operating various word-processing, spreadsheets, and database software programs in a Windows environment such as Word, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint.
6. Skill in analyzing problems, projecting consequences, identifying solutions, and implementing recommendations.
7. Ability to make solid decisions and exercise independent judgment.
8. Ability to work effectively with individuals and demonstrate leadership and team-building skills with empathy and enthusiasm.
9. Knowledge of available community resources.
10. Knowledge of department organization, functions, objectives, policies, expectations and procedures.

16. Ability to obtain Oneida Certification on reporting Child Abuse and Neglect within ninety (90) days of employment.
17. Maintain strict departmental security, confidentiality, and quality to meet professional standards of the department.
18. Must be willing and able to obtain additional education and training.
19. Must pass a pre-employment drug screening. Must adhere to the Nation's Drug and Alcohol-Free Workplace Policy during the course of employment.
20. Must pass a background security check with the Oneida Nation in order to meet the Employment Eligibility Requirements, Tribal/State Compact and/or Oneida Nation Gaming Ordinance as they pertain to the position. A temporary license or Gaming License issued by the Oneida Gaming Commission is required as a condition of employment and continuing employment within the Oneida Nation's Gaming Division.
21. A valid driver's license or occupational driver's license, reliable transportation and insurance is required. Must obtain a Wisconsin driver's license or occupational driver's license within thirty (30) days of employment if applicant has an out-of state driver's license. Must be authorized as eligible to operate a Personal and Tribal vehicle under the Oneida Nation's Vehicle Driver Certification and Fleet Management Law prior to actual start date. Must maintain driver's eligibility as a condition of employment.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

1. Bachelor's Degree in Social Work, Psychology, Sociology, Human Services, Counseling or closely related field
2. Two (2) years recent (within 5 years) direct practice experience which may include; conducting intakes, case management, assessing safety and providing referrals.
3. Two (2) years recent experience in grant management.
