Senior Software Engineer - Collect Platform

The Collect Platform engineering team is what drives Qualtrics XM Platform. You will be building leading edge technologies that will enable our customers to collect the data they need across the 4 key XM funnels.

How You'll Grow

  • Develop the ability to build scalable, fast, and robust customer and platform solutions
  • Develop familiarity with containerization and full-stack development
  • Evolve functional requirements into technical requirements that work for all Product use cases
  • Benefit from working with other engineers, product managers, UX, and more
  • Master Agile methodologies by attending daily stand-up meetings, prioritizing tasks, and working with a sense of urgency to meet a scheduled plan to deliver value to our customers

Things You'll Do

  • Develop scalable, fast, robust, and simple web-based solutions to solve business problems
  • Implement new features and optimize existing ones to drive optimal performance and adoption
  • Develop a mix of backend services and delightful front-end UIs with an API first mentality
  • Maintain systems in production, resolve customer issues, and participate in team on-call rotation
  • Contribute to team meetings, attend project review and operation review meetings, design enhancements and new features, collaborate with your peers, prioritize features, and work with a sense of urgency to deliver value to your customers
  • Work closely with, and incorporate feedback from other engineers and product managers

 

What We're Looking For On Your Resume

  • Has worked with design and product teams to understand needs, propose features, create early prototypes, and transform them into exciting end user features.
  • Has developed scalable, fast, robust, and rich web-based solutions to solve complex business problems, using the latest frontend and backend technologies
  • Strong algorithms, data structures and coding background
  • Experience with continuous delivery, git, test automation and build/deploy systems
  • Experience building large-scale web applications or distributed services
  • Experience building high performance RESTful services
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or related field
  • 5+ years working in a full stack web engineering position

The Collect Platform organization works to provide a world-class survey building and survey taking experience. We are the heart of data collection for all Qualtrics customers. Collect Platform also supports our partners and customers as they build business-critical solutions and extensions on top of the survey platform.
