SAIC is seeking Electronic Warfare (EW) Operations Planner to support the US Army at Ft. Belvoir, Virginia.
Performs duties as a staff action officer/project manager on EW-related issues, requiring coordination with Army Cyber Command staff, Army Staff, Joint Staff, Service Staffs, various EW entities, DOD, and US Government organizations.
Provides input to briefings, transitioning concepts to execution and assisting in the coordination of joint operational planning in support of training, combat, and contingency operations.
Aid in the assessment of current and projected electronic warfare (EW) solutions (material, manning, training and equipping) to meet the needs of the Army.
Provides input to address shortfalls, prioritize, and validate requirements and be prepared to modify development-planning efforts based on the changing EW environment.
Participates and contributes to operational planning meetings
Provides EW related expertise in support of the Technical Warfare Center, ARCYBER and ARCYBER Chief Technology Officer.
Serve as an action officer, working on various projects related to the development of EW teams across the military services.
Address issues of EW policy, resources, facilities, ranges, and technologies while working with multiple DoD, US Government, and commercial organizations.
Provide in-depth knowledge of staff procedures, understand stakeholder equities, and be capable of resolving issues as they arise.
Required Education and Experience
HS/GED and 18 years of experience OR Bachelors and fourteen (14) years or more experience; OR Masters and twelve (12) years or more experience; OR PhD or JD and nine (9) years or more experience.
Active TS/Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) security clearance
8 years of experience in Intelligence or Cyber operations – including operations, plans, training, analysis, collection management, targeting, single or multi-discipline)
Operational or Strategic staff experience (e.g. Army echelon-above-Corps, Service-level or Joint Staff, OSD, Intelligence Community/Agency level)
Minimum 10 years' experience
Familiarity with staffing procedures, such as AROC and JROC.
Knowledge and/or experience in cyber operations.
Expertise for the development of EW policy, plans, processes, procedures, and governing directives.
Have staff experience at the operational and/or strategic level with preference to Joint or Service staff experience.
