The SAIC National Security Group is seeking an Enterprise Scheduler. This position will bwe responsible for buildding and maintaining enterprise IMS/Roadmaps, program management reviews, technical exchange meetings, milestones among other requirements.
The primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Provide Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) /Integrated Master Plan (IMP) support to multiple programs and Enterprise-wide ODNI Programs
- Develop, integrate and maintain multiple schedules into program top-level Integrated Master Plan (IMP) and associated Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) as day-to-day execution tools used to periodically assess progress in meeting program requirements
- Develop solutions for mitigating schedule risk and achieving program goals and objectives
- Identify and recommend scheduling best practices
- Work closely with technical experts, project leads and project managers in planning, creating, and managing project schedules
- Perform coordination of cross-functional departments to identify project issues, monitor action items, and work with the project manager to ensure resolution
- Working closely with others in linking critical activities across multiple workstreams
- Coordinate project schedules, tasks, meeting updates, and efficient distribution of reports
Qualifications
- Candidate must have an active TS/SCI clearance w/CI polygraph
- Nine+ years' of overall related experience
- Bachelors degree or an additional four years' of experience.
- Experience developing an Integrated Master Schedule (IMS)
- Expertise in MS Project (advanced preferred) and familiarity with Agile project management methodologies
- Experience working along with the technical team leads to determine critical tasks and their interdependencies across the program as day-to-day execution tools used to periodically assess progress in meeting program requirements
- Working knowledge of how to support the Government with Integrated Master Schedules that are developed and maintained for multiple projects to summary a program portfolio. This will require the liaison with mission partners and task owners to determine the sequencing and duration of activities.
- Experience creating a project baseline for each project and monitoring project progress against that baseline.
- Ability to identify and resolve resource and schedule conflicts and constraints among multiple projects.
- Experience providing impact analysis of schedule changes; identifying schedule variances and opportunities and proactively developing mitigation strategies for the Project Management team.
- Prior experience developing scheduling status reports used at Program Management meetings
- Experience supporting the development and the sustainment of appropriate project Work Breakdown Structures (WBS) and activity coding in accordance with the contract Performance Work Statement (PWS)
- Demonstrated expert knowledge in determining the Critical Path and performing Schedule status updates
- Experience developing solutions for mitigating schedule risk and achieving program goals and objectives
- Ability to identify and recommend scheduling best practices
- Ability to work closely with technical experts, project leads and project managers in planning, creating, and managing project schedules
- Coordinate project schedules, tasks, meeting updates, and efficient distribution of reports
Desired skills and Qualifications:
- 5-7 years of demonstrated experience managing a schedule for an enterprise-wide program(s) and multiple sub-components using MS Project
- PMI-SP (Scheduling Professional) certification
