SAIC is seeking a Lead Requirements Analyst in support of Operational Test and Training Infrastructure (OTTI) and the National Space Test and Training Complex (NSTTC) in Colorado Springs, CO. The Lead Requirements Analyst will support a team of multi-disciplined engineers and analysts to coordinate with government and partner space operations and technical experts to develop OTTI and range solutions focused on capabilities-based requirements and architectures, manage technical baseline processes and documentation, and respond to mission requirements for test and training purposes. We are looking for self-motivated, enthusiastic people who are excited about taking on a variety of challenges as we continue to develop a test and training enterprise solution and support the USSF and Joint warfighting community. Successful candidates will be able to work under only very general supervision. Occasional travel may be required to engage with key stakeholders.

Responsible for:

  • Responsible for interfacing with all program offices within the USSF Integrated. Program Office to collect testing requirements and facilitate their documentation for prioritization by the Government.
  • Provide operational support to capabilities and system development, test, and transition.
  • Provide space requirements support, technical analysis, and shaping development to the USSF's Operational Test and Training Infrastructure (OTTI) and Space Training and Readiness Command's (STARCOM's) National Space Test and Training Complex (NSTTC).
  • Coordinate Government activities and contractor, sub-contractor, and vendor requirements efforts throughout the system life cycle.
  • Perform and oversee concept of test and training event planning, requirements definition and capture, analysis and engineering, system analysis, and design.
  • Develop processes for requirements management and mission integration efforts to include systems engineering functions, requirements strategies and decomposition, and integration of operational and other types of mission areas.

Qualifications

This is you:

  • Bachelors Degree in a technical field of study or related field with 14+ years of space requirements experience or additional 4 years of experience in lieu of degree.
  • Must have a current background investigation commensurate with Top Secret security clearance and be able to obtain Sensitive Compartmented Information access and consent to a counter-intelligence polygraph examination
  • Background and expertise with space technical and mission requirements and documentation across test, training, and tactics development (TACDEV) element.
  • Experience working across organizations to achieve project goals.
  • Advised customer leadership on: technical integration strategies for next-generation systems; program execution issues and recommendations; requirements messaging to key operational and acquisition government and industry stakeholders.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Understanding of model-based and/or software engineering tools and practices and how they relate to requirements management.
  • Demonstrable experience with DoD or NRO space and ground requirements analysis and decomposition.
  • Understanding of DoD and USSF range operations, standards, and policies.

Target salary range: $175,001 - $200,000. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
