SAIC is seeking a highly motivated Software Infrastructure SETA to provide SETA support to SAIC's Program, Landmark AOS in Chantilly, VA. Landmark AOS is a large SETA program, supporting the NRO's Ground Enterprise Directorate (GED), responsible for the acquisition of systems over the complete end-to-end life cycle. 

The Software Infrastructure SETA supports the planning for, and executing activities, such as understanding the production of software applications, monitoring system performance, ensuring defect repairs are made, support the testing of applications after any changes are made, and help in the tuning a releases software system.  The Software Infrastructure SETA will also support software infrastructure operations of the Software Platform infrastructure in EDAP.

Providing SETA support to the following areas:

  • Management of network configurations, firewall, identity, and access management, monitor network health and traffic flows, and provide hardware support and upgrades.
  • Provision infrastructure resources, manage configuration changes and IT workloads, handle software licensing and upgrades, and set up software, hardware, and server resources for new users.
  • Troubleshoot issues, manage help desk systems, coordinate with the service desk to address IT infrastructure problems, develop disaster recovery, and risk mitigation plans, and collaborate with external partners on compliance projects.
  • Incident & Security Management: Implement maintenance measures, detect anomalous network and security behavior, manage identity and access controls, architect secure IT environments, and establish service level agreement (SLA) standards.

Qualifications

Required Education and Experience

  • Bachelors and five (5) years or more experience; Masters and three (3) years or more experience; PhD and 0 years related experience. Relevant experience to be substituted in lieu of degree.
  • Active Top Secret/ SCI Clearance with Polygraph 
  • Experience in network infrastructure management, server management, service desk support, and/pr incident & security management.
  • Familiarity with software production processes and practices.
  • Ability to guide and work alongside developers, ensuring compliance with government requirements.
  • Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in developing disaster recovery and risk mitigation plans.
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills for working with external partners, auditors, and consultants.
