SAIC seeks a Systems Engineer to provide SETA support on an effort to assist the customer as it develops the architecture baseline. The individual will provide technical expertise, continuity of effort and value-added judgement to advise and assist the customer's leadership and contract teams. The engineer will develop and maintain strong awareness on on-going IT projects and business unit requirements.

Responsibilities include:

  • Participate in and facilitate team meetings to reach requirement consensus to capture strategic capabilities for customers, both internal and external
  • Execute end-to-end processes and preparing and coordinating required documentation.
  • Demonstrate the ability to capture users' needs by performing requirements elicitation directly with stakeholders, drafting and documenting requirements to implement changes to operational baselines.
  • Serve on integrated cross-functional teams supporting studies and analysis.

Qualifications

Qualifications - External

Required:

  • Active TS/SCI with polygraph
  • Bachelor's and eighteen (18) years or more experience; Masters and sixteen (16) years or more experience; PhD or JD and thirteen (13) years or more experience
  • 9+ years or more of demonstrated experience in one or more of the following engineering activities:
  • Experience with Platform as a service (PaaS)
  • Experience working across multiple platforms, such as, AWS Lambda or similar systems.
  • Understanding of data design and architecture
  • Familiar with supporting big data implementation.

  • Experience with system/segment requirements documentation (SRDs), interface control documents (ICDs), IV&V support to include Requirements Verification Traceability Matrix (RVTM) development, and crafting use cases and test plans.
