Job Description

  • Provides daily client support, including responding to client inquiries, setting up security and enrollment in products, changing client passwords, researching reports aimed at overall quality improvements, and updating and maintaining documentation.
  • Performs tasks associated with client solutions.
  • Gathers and analyzes information for problem resolution.
  • The number of clients may increase as they gain product and business knowledge.
  • This position will work on daily support tickets for GIDS clients within Shared Services team.
  • Candidate will need strong communication skills, as well as the ability to multi-task.
  • Client interaction will be required for this position, which will mainly be written communication.
  • Strong research skills are also required for the position.
  • In regards to researching tickets, the ability to search and leverage prior tickets in DST JIRA, navigating and utilizing Confluence, as well as using existing SS&C documentation will be beneficial.
  • The associate will need to learn how to navigate the organization for tickets not handled within Shared Services team, which includes working with the Technical Team, Digital/FAN Web Teams, Data Security, GIDS Relationship Team, BPO Teams, and TA2000 Operations Support.
  • Documenting tickets and providing timely updates back to the client is a must.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Engineering/ Computer Science/ Mathematics or related field.
  • 1-2 years' experience in application / production development and/or support role.
  • 1-2 years in financial application support would be an advantage.
  • Strong communication, writing and reading skills with the ability to effectively collaborate with both clients and technical stakeholders.
  • Ability to execute multiple assignments within an established timeframe and maintain department quality standards.
  • Problem solving skills; ability to confidently recommend solutions on the basis of prior analysis.
  • Have knowledge of Relational Database and SQL.
  • Have a knowledge of Mutual Fund will be a plus.


Note: Basic mainframe knowledge and tools will be provided.
