Description
Duties:
- Receive quote requests via email from Commercial Hardware Distributors, for flush wood doors, ranging in quantity from 1 to 100.
- Per the specifications on quote requests, communicate with the customer regarding questions, lead-times, etc. Once satisfied, coordinate wood door estimates using quoting system including Masonite DoorBuilder platform.
- As orders come in, create production tickets to fulfill those orders in our shop or send those orders to our suppliers to fulfill at their facilities if time allows.
- Using our in-house software system, monitor inventory levels, building and placing orders for stock doors and accessories (lite kits, louvers, wood frames, etc) with our suppliers.
- Additional roles and responsibilities available as we grow. We want you to succeed and will craft the role according to your strengths and weaknesses.
- Some outside sales and business development functions available if desired.
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years experience in Commercial Door & Hardware industry.
- Division 8 knowledge.
- Computer/Software competency including Excel, MS Outlook/Office, ERP platforms, etc.
- Organized and timely communications. We sell STAT service, a sense of 'urgency' in how we communicate with our customers and suppliers is critical.
- Positive, constructive interpersonal skills with coworkers, customers and suppliers.
