Tetra Tech are managing Costs on a large portfolio of exciting development opportunities across both the private and public sectors covering small to large scale from feasibility stage through to completion.

 

You will have the opportunity to become a key member within our Southern region cost management team, working closely with multi-disciplinary teams across various offices, forging strong working relationships internally and externally becoming a trusted advisor to our clients.

 

You will be responsible for supporting and managing our projects with a high-standard of cost management and employer's agent services alongside our experienced professionals.

· Degree in Quantity Surveying 

· Have or are working towards full membership of the RICS

· Pre and post contract cost management experience, including cost planning, managing change, assessing risk and opportunity and procurement.

· Experience in Contract Administration, including but not limited to, Change Authorisation, issuing Notices and Recommendations.

· Experience chairing meetings, producing minutes and monthly Client reports.

· Experience in being involved in Managing the handover process of developments including quality inspections, statutory approvals, and certification.

· Residential sector experience is preferable, but not essential as we are looking for experience across all sectors

· Knowledge and experience of NEC3/4 and JCT

· Dependable and reliable

· Professional and service focused on client satisfaction

· Promotes confidence with clients and colleagues

· Sound IT skills, especially Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, SharePoint and CostX

· Self-motivation to work collaboratively with virtual project teams

· Good verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills

· Excellent problem solver and negotiation skills

· Suitability for Security Clearance for Public Sector opportunities

· Driving Licence preferable
