Description

Saint Alphonsus Medical Group (SAMG) has an excellent full-time employment opportunity for a Board Certified or Board Eligible Obstetrics and Gynecology physician to join an established practice located in Nampa, Idaho.

SAMG, a 500+ provider multispecialty group, is seeking an Obstetrics and Gynecology physician committed to a multi-disciplinary team approach to patient care in a significantly underserved community. This is a perfect opportunity for a physician seeking a more rural style of practice with the support of a large health system and a well-organized multispecialty group practice.

The outpatient clinic (in a new medical office building) and the Birkeland Maternity Center (a 20-bed LDR unit with a spa-like feel and atmosphere) are both located on the campus of Saint Alphonsus Medical Center - Nampa, a newly built 100-bed community hospital supported by a strong network of primary care clinics and specialty care providers.

Support includes Maternal-Fetal-Medicine; Gynecologic Oncology; 4 bed Level II NICU; 24/7 CRNA Anesthesia; ED; SAMG network of 74 Primary & Specialty Care clinics; larger system resources including Boise OB-GYN practice; da Vinci XI & SI available at Boise campus.

The full-time schedule for this opportunity is a traditional clinic work with a minimum of 32 patient contact hours per week, plus rounding and call. Call is 1:6 and shared equitably with other employed OB-GYNs.

Requirements for this opportunity include an individual with a Doctor of Medicine (MD) or a Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) degree; successful completion of an ACGME/AOA accredited Obstetrics & Gynecology residency program; Board certification through the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology (ABOG) or the American Osteopathic Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology (AOBOG) (or obtain certification within 3 years of employment); ability to obtain Idaho & Oregon medical licensure and granting of privileges at SAMC - Nampa and other health system affiliated hospitals as needed; valid controlled substance registration with Board of Pharmacy and DEA.

This is a great opportunity for an Obstetrics and Gynecology physician to join a growing medical group.
