Under minimal supervision from the Associate Vice Chancellor of Strategy and Administration, the incumbent serves the Office of the Vice Chancellor for Health Affairs (OVCHA) in areas of decision support, project management, and implementation and assessment of a broad range of strategic initiatives including but not limited to Health Affairs events and meetings, assessment and reporting, and operations. Under minimal supervision of the AVC, the incumbent collaborates closely with senior leadership to plan, implement, and assess strategic initiatives. The incumbent provides comprehensive expert analyses, manages and finalizes projects, and develops reports as needed to communicate results appropriately to a range of high-level internal and external audiences. The incumbent supervises staff members focused on committee support and scientific affairs. Additionally, the Manager regularly works on issues where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of variable factors. The incumbent must be able to exercise judgment in selecting methods, techniques and evaluation criteria for obtaining results.
