Summary

We are searching for a qualified Accounts Receivable Generalist to join our Accounts Receivable Team.  The Accounts Receivable Generalist will be responsible for accurate and efficient data entry and reconciliations pertaining to production tickets and materials invoices, as well as other general accounting duties as needed.

 

Requirements

  • Knowledge of intermediate accounting principles in order to process, analyze, and reconcile production tickets, materials invoices and other related documents pertaining to production purchases.
  • Ability to process production tickets, materials invoices, and stone inventory in a timely manner according to Company Accounting Procedures.
  • Proficiency in various computer applications with special consideration given to candidates who are highly skilled in Microsoft Office software.
  • Answer incoming calls to assist and resolve internal and external customer issues.
  • Ability to adhere to Company Attendance Policy to ensure office operations function at a normal efficiency level.
  • Ability to consistently maintain a courteous and professional demeanor with co-workers, customers and the public.
  • Adhere to Company's Code of Business Conduct.
  • Willing to work in a team environment and assist co-workers or supervisors with other duties as required.

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.

  • Physical ability to sit, mobilize fingers and hands in such a way that keypunching and a calculator can be utilized.
  • Bending and squatting may be required as filing is a necessity.
  • Hearing and speaking in such a way that effective and professional communication is applied via one on one, phone, and email.
  • Sight is required in order to read production papers, contracts and other accounting materials in tangible form.
  • Other physical demands that may be utilized but may be modified to fit individual needs: twisting, reaching, standing, walking.

Education/Experience

  • Associates Degree or equivalent preferred, with the ability to interpret and apply verbal and/or written instructions in English.
  • Previous related experience in administrative support is preferred.
  • Strong computer and data entry skills, attention to detail and the ability to work in a deadline-driven environment.
