Fall 2024 Undergrad Data Analyst Engineering Co-Op/Intern

 

LOCATION: San Jose, Santa Clara.

 

ONSITE/HYBRID: These roles require the student to work full time (40 hours a week), either in a hybrid or onsite work structure throughout the duration of the co-op/intern term.

 

PROGRAM TERM: August 19th, 2024, to December 13th, 2024.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

As an intern, you will be part of AMD's next generation of technology innovations. You will work with diverse and talented teams. Our intern program provides learning and career development opportunities. You will connect with leaders, receive one-on-one mentorship, and participate in exciting events. With AMD, you will benefit from a combination of hands-on training and real-world work experiences that will give you a competitive edge.

 

You will develop proofs of concept and prototypes for new technologies and algorithms, assist software and hardware architects in analyzing and debugging critical application infrastructure. Participate on cross-functional teams, work closely with product engineering, and help resolve production-related issues.

PLEASE HAVE KNOWLEDGE OF ONE OR MORE OF THE FOLLOWING TECHNICAL SKILLS:

 

  • Kubernetes, Tableau, PowerBi
  • MongoDB
  • Microsoft Cloud Services like Azure and AKS
  • Snowflake
  • SQL Server data platform
  • Software development (including design, implementation, testing, and change management).

WHO WE'RE LOOKING FOR:

 

  • Analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of data.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work well independently and in a team environment.
  • Strong passion for technology and data.
  • Currently enrolled in an accredited US University, preferable in Junior or Senior year.
  • Studying Business Analytics, Data Engineering, Data Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineer, or Computer Science.

At AMD, your base pay is one part of your total rewards package.  Your base pay will depend on where your skills, qualifications, experience, and location fit into the hiring range for the position. You may be eligible for incentives based upon your role such as either an annual bonus or sales incentive.
