MTS SILICON DESIGN ENGINEER  

THE ROLE AND THE PERSON: 

The focus of this role is to plan, build, and execute the physical implementation and signoff methodologies for AMD-AECG designs. The person should be self-motivated, research oriented and should be able to explore latest and greatest methodologies of physical implementation. 

You are a team player who has excellent communication skills and experience collaborating with other engineers located in different sites/timezones. You have strong analytical and problem-solving skills and are willing to learn and ready to take on problems. 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:  

• Explore and suggest new, innovative ideas related to PD and STA
• Should be able to define and refine PD and STA methodologies and flows
• Should be able to switch between real tapeout and methodologies swiftly on need basis

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:  

• Proficient in PD and STA fundamentals with hands on experience
• Proficient in PD and STA tools - FC/ICC2/PTSI/Tempus/Innovus

• Proficient in scripting languages  

ACADEMIC CREDENTIALS AND INDUSTRY EXPERIENCE:  

• Bachelors or Masters degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering with minimum 8 years of relevant industry experience
