The Role:

We are seeking an experienced and strategic Senior Manager to lead & support our global payroll strategy & payroll operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background and proven leadership experience in global payroll operations & program management, process improvements and payroll projects. This role will be responsible to support payroll operations, develop and implement payroll strategies, manage global payroll projects, M&A payroll activities and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. This role will report directly to Director – Global Payroll. 

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and support global payroll operations, ensuring timely and accurate payment of employees' compensation.
  • Develop and implement payroll strategies to support business objectives.
  • Implement and maintain payroll systems, processes, and technologies including set-up of new entities, global payroll systems and projects.
  • Develop and implement process improvements, scalability, and efficiency.
  • Analyze and resolve complex payroll issues, ensuring compliance with global regulations.
  • Collaborate with HR, Finance, and IT teams to ensure compliance with regulations and company policies.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with external partners, such as payroll vendors and tax authorities etc.
  • Support a team of payroll professionals, providing guidance and mentorship.
  • Provide training and support to payroll staff and other stakeholders.
  • Stay up to date with changing regulations and industry trends, advising the team and implementing changes as needed.
  • Develop and manage budgets, forecasts, and financial analysis.
  • Ensure data security, privacy, and compliance with relevant regulations.

 

Preferred Experience:

 

  • Experience in global payroll management, with a focus on strategy and projects.
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and payroll project management and implementing skills
  • Strong knowledge of global payroll regulations and compliance.
  • Experience with international payroll and tax compliance.
  • Excellent leadership and management skills, with experience managing teams.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
  • Proficiency in MS Office suite of applications, such as Excel, Word, Power-Point and Visio.

Academic Credentials:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Accounting, or related field.
