THE ROLE: 

The AMD Verification Methodology and Technology (VMT) team delivers verification methodology and technology for all AMD teams and products. Team member will be working with global teams on the register and connectivity solutions developed internally in AMD.  

We are looking for an adaptive, self-motivative software oriented engineer to join our growing team. As a key contributor, you will be part of a leading team to drive and improve AMD's abilities to deliver the highest quality, industry-leading technologies to market.  

THE PERSON: 

A successful candidate in this position is expected to excel in analytical thinking, problem solving, organizing data, gathering requirements, planning and execution. He/she needs to be a self-starter who collaborates well with team members and customers alike to successfully drive tasks to completion.

REQUIRED SKILLS:

SOFTWARE:

• • • C/C++ development experience
    • Good to have exposure to latest C++ versions (C++11/C++14/C++17)
    • Should have good understanding on STL.
    • Should have hands on C++ Templates/metaprogramming.
    • Should have good understanding on Data Structure and Algorithms.
    • Good to have knowledge of Design principles and Design Patterns.
    • Should be familiar with Unit testing frameworks (like CPPTest/GTest)
    • Should have good understanding of Makefile, GDB, Valgrind
    • Should have experience with version control systems (GIT/PERFORCE)
    • Should understand file formats like (JSON/YAML/XML)
    • Should have hands on experience with LINUX, Shell Scripting and Knowledge of Reg Ex is good to have.

DOMAIN:

• • • Good to have understanding on HDL languages like VERILOG/VHDL
    • Basic understanding of Computer Architecture
