SENIOR SOFTWARE SYSTEMS DESIGNER
THE ROLE:
We are looking for a dynamic, energetic Software Systems Design Engineer to join our growing team. As a key contributor to the success of AMD's products, you will be part of a leading team to drive and improve AMD's abilities to deliver the highest quality, industry-leading technologies to market. The Software Systems Design Engineering team fosters and encourages continuous technical innovation to showcase successes as well as facilitate continuous career development.
THE PERSON:
As a Software Systems Design Engineer, you will deliver our next generation of products in the GPU and Machin Learning, your systems engineering expertise will be necessary to define products, develop solutions, assess root causes, and produce solution resolutions. As a senior member of the team, taking initiative in mentoring to achieve the team's goal of on time delivery is expected.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Responsible for AMD's ROCm SW stack validation on various AMD GPUs.
Responsible for strengthening Component quality of ROCm stack components. Candidate should work with relevant stake holders, come up with Test plan, implement the tests and execute them.
Responsible for triage/Debug of issues and identifying correct component, assist stake holders for faster closure of issues.
Responsible for quality and timeliness for the activities.
Make more complex technical decisions independently.
Implement checks and balances independently to minimize the impact of mistakes.
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:
Ready to work for automation and validation(More of Automation test engineer, where candidate have to do test planning, test creation, automate them and test them)
Very Good with Python Automation skills and have basic understanding on C/C++
Working knowledge on Linux.
ACADEMIC CREDENTIALS:
- Bachelors or master's degree in electrical or computer engineering.
- Master's degree preferred.
