To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we're looking to add an Electrical Engineering Intern located in our Richmond, VA site.

The Co-Op will work closely with sales, project managers, procurement, production, quality assurance and other engineers, and analyze feedback from customers to produce or modify product designs.

What a typical day looks like:

• Meeting with stakeholders to establish requirements for a new or existing product or electrical system.
• Working with a team of engineers and CAD designers on engineering projects.
• Developing electrical designs for critical power systems (variety from standard to robust and complex)
• Working from concept development and ensure that plans meet client needs and engineering standards while adhering to timelines for each project
• Creating user friendly operation and maintenance manuals and developing and supervising factory/on-site acceptance test plans
• Creating prototypes, testing them, and analyzing the results.
• Providing support during the entire building process to ensure that the design specifications are met.
• Analyzing problems that may arise during the manufacturing process and recommending solutions.

Student qualities we're seeking for this Co-Op assignment:

• Currently enrolled Junior/Senior undergrad student pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related major
• Enthusiastic about working in a manufacturing environment
• Highly collaborative, creative and excellent communication skills
• Strong problem-solving skills and an excellent understanding of mathematics.

Co-Op Program Requirements:

• Available to work 40 hours/week (in-person) for the assignment term)
• Currently enrolled in 4-year accredited university
• 3.0 minimum GPA
