ApolloMD has a new partnership with SwedishAmerican Hospital just outside of Chicago, IL! We are looking for Full-Time and PRN Advanced Practice Clinicians to join the Hospitalist team and manage the Observation Unit. This position is open to both experienced and new grad APCs.
SwedishAmerican is a level II trauma center housing 357 beds. The hospital prides itself not only on its evolution into a leading local health system but as a deeply invested member of the community. - Practice Size: 36 physicians; 4 APCs
- Census: 16-18/day
- Noct Admits: 10 per Nocturnist
- Procedures: No
- Codes: Yes
- Open ICU – 30 Beds w/ intensivist
- UIC Family Medicine Residency in house
- EMR: EPIC
APC Duties Include:
- Round on patients in Obs Unit
- Admissions
- Treatment plans/H&P examinations
- Cross coverage & floor calls
