This position is Sign-on Bonus eligible.
The Occupational Therapist performs evaluations, establishes goals, and plans the Occupational Therapy treatment programs referred by a physician. The candidate provides direct patient care and provides treatments focused on improving or restoring a patient's ability to function at maximum levels of independence with skills basic to living.
A. Education
1. Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapist Assistant curriculum
B. Experience
1. Knowledge of the occupational therapy profession as normally acquired through academic experience, clinical affiliations, and/or previous work experience in the field
2. Demonstrated competence in the care of populations served which may include neonatal, infant, child, adolescent, adult, and geriatric
C. Licensure
1. Licensed Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA) from the state of Georgia
