Clayton State Universitys Student Health Clinic in collaboration with Atrium Health Navicent is dedicated to providing comprehensive healthcare services to our diverse student population. We are committed to promoting health and wellness while supporting the academic success of our students. Our clinic offers a range of primary healthcare, mental health, and reproductive health services in a student-friendly environment.

Position Overview: We are seeking a passionate and skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join our dynamic healthcare team. The RN will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality healthcare services to our students, promoting health education, and fostering a supportive and inclusive clinic environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide nursing care, assessment, and treatment to students presenting with various health concerns and conditions.
  • Administer medications, vaccinations, and other prescribed treatments following established protocols and guidelines.
  • Perform health screenings, physical assessments, and triage to determine appropriate care and referrals.
  • Collaborate with healthcare providers, counselors, and other staff members to ensure holistic care and support for students.
  • Participate in health education initiatives, workshops, and outreach programs aimed at promoting wellness and preventive healthcare practices among students.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential medical records/documentation in compliance with regulatory standards and clinic policies.
  • Adhere to infection control protocols, safety guidelines, and best practices in nursing care delivery.

Qualifications:

  • Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Georgia.
  • Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
