The Patient Access System Administrator is responsible for obtaining and maintaining a thorough knowledge of the Patient Accounting, Patient Processing and associated bolt on systems currently in use in the organization. The Administrator maintains all tables and parameters in the systems and will be responsible for the project management of all system upgrades and new installations and assists with training new staff on all Registration systems as well as update staff on upgrades and changes. This Administrator works closely with the business units to meet defined service level agreements and achieve high levels of customer satisfaction.
1. High School diploma or GED.
2. Associate's or Bachelor's degree from a recognized college or university preferred
1. Four (4) years of Revenue Cycle work experience.
2. Certified Patient Account Representative Credentials through HFMA, Certified Hospital Access Associate credentials through NAHAM, and/or comparable recognized certification pertinent to role is preferred.
