We are looking for an experienced IT Project Manager to join our technology-based program supporting a key functional program area providing full lifecycle engineering support for systems monitoring and applications management services that provide systems alerts, including monitoring for enterprise system performance and availability and providing guidance and engineering for upgrades, systems modifications, and updates. The functional area also provides operational support for applications deployed across the sponsor's enterprise, including release management configuration management and data analysis.

Required Education, Experience, & Skills
The IT Program Manager will support the team in the following activities (including but not limited to):

  • Direct activities to meet the sponsor's organizational work objectives and serve as a liaison to coordinate activities, negotiate tasks, and solve problems
  • Engage project stakeholders to collect/manage their requirements and expectations
  • Work with developers and engineers to turn customer requirements into system requirements to be developed, tested and implemented
  • Apply Agile project management model for managing assigned projects; successfully manage sprints
  • Create and maintain project management documentation
  • Maintain individual project schedules and schedule forecasts
  • Properly manage priorities and time to meet project milestones and due dates
  • Identify risks and issues and track/manage them until they are resolved
  • Document project progress including implementation, time lines, issues, risks, quality and success measures
  • Provide regular status reporting (including project status briefings) to the sponsor, stakeholders and project team on progress toward objectives
  • Respond to ad-hoc data calls and tasks from Senior Leadership
Required Education, Experience, & Skills:
  • A minimum of eighteen (18) years of relevant experience without a degree is required; OR sixteen (16) years of relevant experience with a Bachelor's Degree; OR fourteen (14) years of relevant experience with a Master's Degree.
  • Knowledge/experience in managing projects through entire development system life-cycle
  • Familiarity with Scrum, Lean, Agile and DevOps models
  • Understanding and interest in current and emerging technologies
  • Ability to communicate effectively through written and verbal methods
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize to meet deadlines
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment
  • Able to adapt to a constantly changing environment
  • Ability to identify issues and implement corrective actions

Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills
  • PMI Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
  • Experience working with the government
  • Familiarity with the customer's Project Management Framework


Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $140690 - $239140

Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
