This first shift team member will have manufacturing engineering local leadership within one of our microelectronics manufacturing cells. Our first (of 4 total) shifts employs a full factory from supply chain, supervisors and touch personnel. This process engineering team member will coordinate with the various functions to help support front line issues while driving continuous improvement activity for further cost reduction in the factory. There are 13 other first shift process engineers and this role will have appropriate mentorship to help establish confidence, leadership and ownership in the individual to help support a long term job and career.
The team member will support our "automated optical inspection (AOI)" cell and have primary responsibilities in programming, maintaining, and improving upon the existing capital equipment. The role will have important responsibilities in selecting future capital equipment and next generation inspection machinery. Interaction with operators and inspectors will be critical to understand day-to-day problems and helping to plan out paths to resolution. Interaction with suppliers and effective communication of material problems will help shift problems back to the points of origin.
This process engineering job will effectively lead a group of 3-5 cross-functional employees and will be empowered to help with various decisions that improve the overall success of the microelectronics factory (yield improvements, cost take out, delivery improvements).

Required Education, Experience, & Skills
- B.S. in Engineering (all types considered, Mechanical, Chemical, Industrial, Software (preferred))
- Effective communication (cross shift, written/Powerpoint, and various levels of audiences)
Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills
- Secret clearance preferred, not required
- Lean knowledge (single piece vs batch processing) preferred
- Six Sigma training or projects preferred
- Basic knowledge of networking, fundamentals of programming languages and algorithm generation
