This position will be responsible for Government Property Administrative support to the TX sites as it pertains to the proper control of Government and Customer Property. This will include ensuring Policies, Procedures and Processes are followed. Responsible for the full life cycle of Government/Customer Property Management from Acquisition through Disposition.

This role will be performed in a full-time on-site format at our site in Austin, TX. To be considered for this role, applicants must reside in the Austin, TX, metro area, within a reasonable daily commute of our site at 825 E. Howard Lane, Austin, TX.

Complete understanding and application of FAR 52.245-1, FAR Part 45, DFARS, & other Government property regulatory requirements. This position works to develop solutions to complex problems of increased scope and complexity. Ensures solutions are consistent with policies, practices, regulatory clauses, and contract terms and conditions for guidance.

Work is performed without appreciable direction. Exercises considerable latitude in determining objectives and approaches to assignment. Effectively communicates verbally and non-verbally upward, downward, and laterally. Effectively explains and interprets organizational policies and procedures. Eliminate tasks which contribute the least to organizational goals. Intermediate skill level for use of Microsoft Office products and ERP systems.

This position is responsible to support all applicable number of Contractor Outcomes of the Government Property Control System, including the maintenance of records and issuance of required reports concerning Government and Customer-owned property from its receipt at the company to its final disposition after contract completion or termination. Position includes support of Self-Assessments and support of the Government's annual surveillance of the Government Property Control System.

Site lead to support and maintain auditable records of Government and Customer-owned property located at the Austin, Dallas and Fort Worth, TX facilities and associated vendor/subcontractor facilities. Ensure that the records include authority to have the property and an audit trail of receipt, inspection, cost, classification, periodic inventory, maintenance, and final disposition. Support the preparation of internal and external reports pertaining to Government and Customer property. Ensure that assets are received properly, and are identified and added to the appropriate system, including RFID.

Supports and leads the annual reviews of vendor/subcontractor's control of Government and Customer property across the sector and in coordination with the Purchasing and Subcontracts Departments. This may be accomplished through site visits.

Supports the Self-Assessment Plan and will be the lead for overseeing the performance, outcomes, reporting, monitoring progress of all Self-Assessments across the ES Sector. Supports all aspects of the PMSA's for the sector by interfacing with appropriate department personnel and the DCMA's Property Administrator, if necessary, to ensure timely completion of any corrective actions necessary.

Education and Experience

  • College degree (6+ Years with HS, 4+ Years with AA, 2+ Years with BS, 0+ Years with MS) or equivalent and Administrative/Database/Audit experience. Analytical and computer skills required.

Preferred Skills
  • Knowledge of the Oracle eAM Government Property System a plus.
  • Knowledge of iPortal, ESI, E-tools, LTDD, and IUID Registry systems, PIEE system, NPMA, NDIA or other GP training /experience.


Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $78760 - $133870

Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
