Job Description
Ready to make a difference? Our employees design, integrate, and test the world's next generation communication and electronic warfare systems for the United States DoD and international customers. You will be among the brightest minds, working on the aerospace and defense industry's most difficult problems. Drawing strength from our differences, we're innovating for the future. We put our customers first – exemplified by our mission: “We Protect Those Who Protect Us®.” Sound like a team you want to be a part of? Come build your career with us.

Our products provide critical mission capabilities to address the ever-evolving challenges and threats to our nation's security and the war fighter.

BAE Systems is looking for a mission-focused experienced User Engagement engineer to work in an Agile, fast paced environment. The User Engagement engineer focuses on working directly with customers, end users and development engineers to conceptualize, architect and present solutions that solve the toughest mission needs. The User Engagement engineer plays a key role in the agile development process by acting as the interface between the end users and the development team to ensure that the delivered product meets or exceeds the users' needs. He or she presents design artifacts or prototypes to users, gathers feedback, and works with the customer and development team to adjudicate feedback for potential incorporation into the in-work product or as future enhancements.

Because of the need for consistent, in-person collaboration and/or the requirement to perform all work onsite due to the nature of this particular role, it will be performed full-time on site. This means work will be conducted on location at a BAE Systems facility (or customer facility) 100% of the time.

We also have an employee assistance program, a legal plan, and other perks including discounts on things like home, auto, and pet insurance. Our leave programs include paid time off, paid holidays, as well as other types of leave, including paid parental, military, bereavement, and any applicable federal and state sick leave. Employees may participate in the company recognition program to receive monetary or non-monetary recognition awards. Other incentives may be available based on position level and/or job specifics.
