Description
Banner University Medical Center Tucson (BUMCT) is seeking a Physician Assistant to assist in providing Orthopedic (total joint) patient care. Based out of BUMCT, this provider will work closely with a collaborative team, managing patients in our growing Orthopedic Medicine division. Qualified candidates must be detail-oriented, a good communicator, and dedicated to providing excellent patient care in both inpatient and outpatient clinical settings.
The ideal candidate must be highly energetic in nature and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. The provider in this role should have a passion for Orthopedics. Services will be provided at our BUMCT-Main and BUMC-T South Campus hospital and clinics.
Details and qualification include:
- APP will work 1:1 with a dedicated joint surgeon
- Team consists of 4 Surgeons and 3 Advanced Practice Providers
- Highly energized and flexible
- Strong decision making and ability to function in a collaborative care model
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Schedule: M-F | 8-5 | No Call
- Current, unrestricted Physician Assistant Arizona license
- Current prescribing privileges including a DEA license for controlled substances
- Current CPR and BLS
- Ability to work effectively within a team
- Experience in a surgical specialty is preferred
- New graduates will be considered
Work Schedule: Full Time | M-F | Daytime Shift | No Call, No Weekends!
