BSW ROUND ROCK MEDICAL CENTER EXPANSION 2025

Join us in an extraordinary opportunity to be at the forefront of our hospital's expansion in Round Rock, Texas. As we gear up to open our doors on January 11, 2025, you'll play a pivotal role in shaping the future of healthcare in our community.

Our expansion, spanning 165,000 square feet, will introduce a state-of-the-art patient tower to our Round Rock hospital, tailored to accommodate the evolving needs of our rapidly growing population. Among its highlights, the tower will house an innovative 11-bed Neonatal Intensive Care Unit, alongside expanded capacities for crucial departments such as med/surg and labor and delivery.

Anticipate a host of enhancements, including:

·Additional operating rooms, cath labs, and procedural areas.

·Expansions and upgrades to communal spaces.

·Implementation of advanced equipment across various departments.

·Shell space earmarked for future growth, including the expansion of our Emergency Department and operating suites.

Must be Within 30 Mins of the Hospital

The Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist, under general supervision, helps Physicians during catheterization / electrophysiology lab procedures. Prepares room and equipment, instructs patients, monitors patient's condition and provides routine and emergency patient care during procedures. Contributes to the orientation and training of other team members. Help in daily, monthly, and or quarterly quality control initiative through auditing and reporting.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE ROLE

  • Helps Physicians with arteriograms/catheterizations, permanent pacemaker implantations, implantable cardiac defibrillators, diagnostic and interventional, peripheral and coronary, interventional and thrombolytic therapy.
  • Follows national and state radiation protection regulations for patients, self and staff. Provides emergency procedures (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR), defibrillation, etc.) as needed.
