Description
THE DIVISION OF INFECTIOUS DISEASES in the Department of Medicine at the Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center (BIDMC), a major teaching hospital of Harvard Medical School (HMS), seeks a BC/BE infectious diseases physician at the Assistant Professor or Associate Professor level for a full-time clinical position providing care to our immunocompromised host population. This physician will serve as a clinician and educator at the BIDMC largely focused on our solid organ transplant program both in the inpatient and outpatient settings. The Division of Infectious Diseases includes 30 full-time members with academic appointments at Harvard Medical School. The division has a strong basic and clinical research mission, provides superb teaching to students, residents and fellows, and provides outstanding clinical care on a busy inpatient service with both general ID and immunocompromised patients.
