Carolina Ear, Nose and Throat- Sinus and Allergy Center PA is a physician-owned and operated private practice with 8 physicians, 2 PAs, and 5 audiologists covering three offices in the Hickory, Morganton and Lincolnton, NC region.

We are seeking a full-time Otolaryngologist to support expansion into a new market. The position includes a competitive starting salary with bonus structure, one-year partnership track, low-volume call with no trauma, 1:8, and a strong benefits package. Ownership in a multi-specialty ambulatory surgical center is also an option. Total compensation package once partnership obtained may exceed the 90th percentile benchmark. You can anticipate a busy practice from day one.

All necessary ancillary and imaging equipment is available in the office. In addition, our practice has a physician co-led administrative team, which allows the provider to focus on their practice while making sure they still can have an active involvement in the decision making and future strategic initiatives of the practice.

Our practice maintains strong relationships with the academic Otolaryngology departments in the major universities throughout the state. There are opportunities for academic engagement with resident and medical student education.

The region has a diverse economy and is home to a large furniture manufacturing industry, telecommunications, and transportation logistics companies and a university community (Appalachian State University-satellite and Lenoir Rhyne University). About Carolina ENT- Sinus and Allergy Center PA

Carolina Ear, Nose & Throat- Sinus and Allergy Center, PA is a busy, general otolaryngology practice located in North Carolina offering the full range of pediatric and adult surgical and medical ENT care.

Our three offices based in the Hickory area give access to a growing 375,000 patient base in the Unifour region of Western North Carolina. For nearly 45 years we've had a strong referral base and amicable relationship with our regional hospitals (Frye Regional Medical Center, Catawba Valley Medical Center). Physicians regularly utilize, have access to, an ownership opportunity in Viewmont Surgery Center, a multi-specialty surgical center in close proximity to our Hickory office.

Our Hickory, Morganton and Lincolnton office locations have nearly 30,000sq ft of clinical and administrative space. ENT rooms are full-outfitted and multiple medical assistants facilitate the physician workstream allowing you to focus on patient care. We have a fully integrated EMR with physician-customized set of templates to simplify documentation. There are two ENT-trained PAs who independently see patients and are an active part of the supportive care team including triaging patient phone calls while on-call.

In addition to our well-equipped and fully staffed offices Carolina Ear, Nose & Throat has an audiology team of five doctors of audiology.

Carolina Ear, Nose & Throat-Sinus and Allergy Center, PA offers the following robust ancillary services:

  • Allergy: Full allergy practice with skin testing and both SCIT and SLIT Immunotherapy, spirometry and FeNO. The allergy division is led collaboratively by three of our FAAOA-trained physicians.
  • Audiology and Balance: Five audiologists providing the full range of audiometric testing with a highly productive hearing aid dispensing practice, OAEs, ECoG, VNG, Tinnitus Retraining, ABR and screening ABR testing.
  • Imaging: IAC accredited on-site Carestream CT scanner that accommodates CT guidance, in-office neck ultrasound and surgeon performed U/S-guided FNAbx.
  • Voice and Swallowing: Videolaryngostroboscopy, FEES, pH Probe with impedance and manometry. Our part-time Speech and Language Pathologist allows for a team-based approach to care.
