Responsibilities:

  • Perform complex cardiothoracic surgical procedures with a focus on cardiac surgery (75%) and general thoracic surgery (25%).
  • Utilize advanced technologies including minimally invasive robotic thoracic procedures, surgical treatment of atrial fibrillation, and leading TAVR and other structural heart programs.
  • Collaborate with a high-volume, experienced team to provide exceptional patient care.
  • Actively participate in the development and advancement of cardiac care programs and initiatives.
  • Provide mentorship and education to residents, fellows, and medical staff.
  • Potential leadership positions at hospital and/or system level for Director and Chairperson Position, depending upon qualifications.

Requirements:

  • Board certification in Cardiothoracic Surgery.
  • Fellowship training in Cardiothoracic Surgery, with a preference for Structural Cardiac Interventional Fellowship.
  • Proficiency in advanced surgical techniques, including robotic-assisted procedures.
  • Experience and interest in program development and innovation.
  • Commitment to delivering high quality, patient-centered care.

Salary Range: $ 550,000-$1,051,931

This range serves as a good faith estimate and actual pay will encompass a number of factors, including a candidate's education, training, skills, licensure and certification, competencies and other relevant experience. The salary range listed does not include any bonuses, incentive pay, or other forms of compensation that may be applicable to this job and it does not include the value of benefits.
