JOB PURPOSE The responsibilities of the HR Data Specialist include the review and collection all required documentation for approving the entries of all employee transactions into the HRIS system per company policies and procedures.

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Prioritize and process the information received for review and approval through the HCM workflows for employees which include new hires, terminations, job/salary changes in a timely manner and within payroll deadlines.
  • Provide excellent customer service to all stakeholders while assisting and enforcing internal policies, federal compliance laws and human resources procedures.
  • Monitor and review emails from schools to prioritize, respond and escalate communication in a timely manner.
  • Review of any data requests, errors research or audits reports requested or needed for reports, projects, audits from management or any other department/school.
  • Keep track of pending transactions that need follow-up and ongoing communication to resolve or escalate to appropriate managers for assistance and support.
  • Run audit reports and perform data validation to ensure accuracy and/or identify errors
  • Comply with human resources policies, security and confidentiality guidelines to maintain the integrity of the data received and entered into the HRIS system

  8. Recommends process improvements in support of best practices within the operational units.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
  • High school diploma or college degree preferred
  • Minimum one year of experience in human resources administration or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Knowledge with HCM platforms such as ADP Vantage, is helpful
WORK ENVIRONMENT

While performing the responsibilities of this position, the work environment characteristics listed below are representative of the environment the employee will encounter:

  • Usual office working conditions.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
  • No physical exertion required.
  • Travel within or outside of state.
  • Light work: Exerting up to 20 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 10 pounds of force as frequently as needed to move objects.

 

TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT

Salary and benefits shall be paid consistent with EduServe's salary and benefits policy. Length of the work year and hours of employment shall be those established by EduServe.

 

FLSA OVERTIME CATEGORY

 

Job is non-exempt from the overtime provisions of the Fair Labor Standards Act.

EVALUATION

Performance will be evaluated in accordance with EduServe's policy.
