Food Service Project Manager  

Type of Employment: Permanent

Location: Our offices in Norway, Sweden or Denmark

Visa requirements: A valid work permit from the EU/EEA (relocation assistance is not provided)

 

THE ROLE

Reporting to the Director Food, Europe within our European Foodservice team, The Food Service project manager will be responsible for successful project management, and pilot implementation. This role partners with key stakeholders within the food team, other organizational functions, and external partners to create the pilot project charter and effectively identify and manage all aspects of the project.

This role must facilitate collaboration and communication with all key stakeholders. Ultimately, this role brings all subject matter experts together for successful pilot project execution and share best practices and leverage scale with North American colleagues.

The role's primary purpose is to successfully manage projects through partnerships and initiatives to support Circle K's business sales growth.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

Here are ways that you'll help make journeys better:

  • Partner with food service team members to define pilot purpose, KPIs, and pilot Business unit selection. Create project scope of work, ensuring a complete understanding of the project.

  • Lead and execute food service pilots ensuring all project-related capital is spent and tracked on time and decision gates in appropriate times.

  • Lead the project managers assigned in each pilot Business Unit to implement the planned projects.

  • Work cross-functionally with other functional teams (food service support, food safety, quality assurance, procurement, marketing, and external partner teams.

  • Maintain effective communication with BU teams, Food Service directors, other functional teams, and external partners securing understanding and commitment to ensure pilot implementation with high success rates.

  • Report project progress, document learnings, and alignment with all project team members.

  • Contribute to the European Food Service team to research, develop, test, and roll out new activities.

  • Manage analyses to evaluate the effectiveness and performance of the projects, and provide reporting and input for process improvements, and cost minimization.

WHAT YOU'LL NEED

  • A bachelor's degree in economics/marketing or related fields.

  • Extensive experience in project management.

  • Strong collaboration, cooperation, communication, and interpersonal skills.

  • Experience working in the FMCG or food service industry.

  • Advanced skills in MS Word, MS Excel, MS Powerpoint, and other relevant Microsoft business suite software and other industry programs.

  • Strong communication skills in English, both verbally and written

  • Must possess strong analytical skills, manage multiple activities, and retain strong detail orientation.

  • Ability to travel 25-50% project specific.
