Description

Role Responsibility:

  • Responsible for driving improvements Operations Excellence: Including process optimization, reporting, leading projects addressing lowering store administration hours.

  • Will act as the Leader of a team focused on these key areas, and challenge the teams to research, analyze, and understand the drivers of dissatisfaction , or inefficiency in our stores, and identify recommendations and improvements to be implemented.

  • Will be responsible for business case creation and budgetary requests for initiatives and ensure projects are properly prioritized and delivered on time and budget.

  • Drive continuous improvement in Circle K .

  • Contribute in various other initiatives designed to improve overall satisfaction, engagement, and especially in areas related to analytics and support systems.

  • Work on the implementation of Legion and Workjam.

  • Represent/Liaison with other Global groups (IT, Accounting, Innovation) gatekeeper of the stores.

  • Drive engagement at the BU level towards the new tools and processes.

Competencies:
  • Good to Excellent presentation skills

  • Strong operational understanding – including operational characteristics of Circle K BUs across North America

  • Out of the box, strategic thinker – willing to take some risks on programs that could yield significant improvements

  • Effective collaborator

  • Good People Leader

  • High level of comfort with technological advancements and high level of intellectual curiosity

  • Skilled in Microsoft Office tools – PPT, Excel, Power BI

  • Financial mindset is a big plus, particularly in the context of identifying those areas of opportunity that if addressed will deliver the most valuable impact.

  • Influencing others

  • Project management skills

Education:

Relevant education in regard to the above stated tasks.

Experience:
  • Minimum 5 year of retail experience with 2-3 years of experience in operation with preference on store operations

  • Team leadership capability

  • Project Management skills

  • Data and Analytics skills

*This role can be located at any one of our Business Unit Support Centers.
