Part of the Global Internal Audit team, the Senior Internal Auditor is a trusted business advisor and strategic business partner responsible for leading audit engagements and performing and overseeing financial internal control audits.

What You Will Do

Here is what your typical day would look like:

  • Perform the evaluation of design and operating effectiveness of ICFR (internal controls over financial reporting)/SOX (Sarbanes-Oxley) key controls.
  • Lead, plan and perform audit mandates assigned (e.g., operational audits, in-flight reviews, investigations) in a timely manner and in accordance with audit standards and internal audit methodology.
  • Evaluate the Company's operating processes and systems to identify meaningful opportunities for improvement that are designed to add value and improve the organization's operations.
  • Act as a strategic business partner and collaborate with management regarding internal controls, process and system efficiency and risk management.
  • Prepare audit reports, including communicating concise and accurate audit results in a timely manner.
  • Follow-up on the implementation of action plans agreed to in audit reports.

What You Need

We want you to join our team! Here's what we're looking for:

  • Minimum of 5-7 years of auditing experience
  • Big 6 firm experience is desirable.
  • Degree in Accounting/Business/Finance.
  • An accounting (CPA) or Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) designation (or in the process of obtaining one of these designations).
  • Experience leading mandates while supervising, coaching, and collaborating with team members.
  • Experience in performing and overseeing ICFR/SOX internal controls testing and compliance requirements (including knowledge of the COSO Framework).
  • Experience in the retail industry is desirable.
  • Excellent communication and writing skills.
  • Strong time management skills and capacity to manage simultaneous deliverables effectively.
  • Strong critical thinking, reasoning skills and analytical skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite of applications.
  • Experience with data analytics (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, etc.) is desirable.
  • Availability to travel up to 15% of the time.
