Description
4 temporary full-time positions for 4 months intended specifically for students enrolled in an engineering, occupational or recreation therapy, architectural technology/design, urban planning related co-op or equivalent post-secondary work experience diploma or degree program. Other education programs with a work experience component may also be considered. Commencing May 2024
Responsibilities:
- Schedule and conduct site visits to identified City facilities to assess compliance with City of Edmonton accessibility standards using an audit checklist. Involves travel to and from sites, navigating through buildings to take photos, measurements and document observations
- Document findings from site assessments to create accessibility audit reports and maintain a centralized repository
- Assist with other office and field tasks as required
