Position: Vice President, Market Lead – Digital Operations

Terms of Employment: Permanent / Full Time

Location: Vancouver, British Columbia

Hours of Work: 40 hours/week

Benefits: Eligible for discretionary bonuses, restricted stock units, performance shares and increases in salary in accordance with company policy. In addition, eligible for disability insurance, dental insurance and extended medical insurance.

Salary: $400,000 to $500,000 annually

Duties:

The Vice President, Market Lead – Digital Operations is responsible for generating and delivering Digital Operations business for global clients by bringing their understanding of the industry, Digital Operations outcomes and business consulting leadership skills to help prospective clients develop innovative solutions, improve their operating models and execute on strategic opportunities.

  • Play a lead role in the sales process with a specific responsibility for understanding and communicating the business value proposition

  • Partner with Client Partners, Sales Executives and Offshore Delivery Managers to pursue new business, assist in the delivery of BPO solutions and ensure clients are satisfied

  • Analyze and assess the industry to determine which BPO offerings are likely to best address the present and future state issues facing companies in their industry

  • Increase sales/revenue and develop/maintain a sales pipeline

  • Develop new and manage existing client relationships

  • Develop and maintain comprehensive knowledge of all facets of the business development, negotiating, contracting and delivery processes

  • Determine the company's mission and strategic direction for the specific market he/she is responsible for as conveyed through policies and concrete objectives which are met through the effective management of talent, financial and material resources

  • Authorize and organize the establishment of major roles and associated senior staff positions

  • Allocate material, talent and financial resources to implement organizational policies and programs; establish financial and administrative controls; formulate and approve marketing material; and approve overall human resources planning

  • Select middle managers, directors or other executive staff; delegate the necessary authority to them and create optimum working conditions

  • Represent the organization, or delegate representatives to act on behalf of the organization, in negotiations with clients.

Requirements:

  • 10+ years of industry experience
  • 3+ years of relevant executive experience
  • Bachelor's degree in related field
  • Significant operational understanding and domain expertise in the Technology,

  • Communications and Media industries
  • Proven experience in growing a Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) practice including each of the following: developing, pursuing, selling and delivering BPO engagements

  • Proven experience managing global sales teams and building collaborative relationships with external and internal partners in a highly matrixed environment as an executive leader

  • Experience managing a P&L of at least $600M in revenue and successfully growing a practice 25% CAGR.

  • Ability to travel extensively and globally
  • Strong professional executive presence
  • Executive-level written and verbal communication skills, team leadership and deal-making experience

  • Experience in structuring complex, global deals in excess of $100M annual revenue

  • Experience working with Industry Analysts
