    Physician Mental Health Child


Employment Requirement: Colorado Permanente Medical Group, P.C. staff must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 or have established a qualified medical or religious, exemption by September 17, 2021. All persons offered a position will be required to provide valid proof of vaccination or qualifying exemption prior to starting employment.


Colorado Permanente Medical Group is seeking a Board Certified or Board Eligible Child Mental Health Physician to support our Highline Medical Office. This position is 0.8 FTE supporting Child Psychiatry.


We offer FTE flexibility and hybrid virtual/in clinic positions.

  • Pay range: Child minimum $275,672 and maximum $324,320. *Salary will be based on years of experience and FTE.

The Mental Health/Psychiatry Child/Adult department will provide care to our members needing psychiatric treatment. This role reports to the Area Specialist Chief of Mental Health/Psychiatry, in the area the physician is reporting. The physician will be providing care to both children and adults depending upon department needs. 

Major Responsibilities/Essential Functions - In order of importance, list primary job responsibilities.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Evaluate and treat members in need of child/adult psychiatric care
  • Carry a panel of patients for continuity of care
  • Utilize in-person, video, telephone visits and inbasket work to provide patient care
  • Participate in department call rotation 
  • Complete in-basket work including personal and coverage in-basket work
  • Attend department and clinic meetings
  • When the National Emergency order is rescinded and controlled substances need to be prescribed in person, the in-person/telehealth hybrid schedule is subject to change

Required Minimum Education - minimum education or degree required

DO or MD with board certification or board eligibility 

Preferred Education - education or degree preferred

Psychiatry 

Required Minimum Work Experience and Qualifications - years of job experience, skills or abilities required

  • Demonstrated success in medical practice 
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively
