Pharmacy Technician - Part Time
JFK Outpatient Pharmacy

As a part time, nonexempt CPS® Pharmacy Technician, you will assist in various pharmacy activities under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist. Your responsibilities will include preparing, delivering, and restocking medications; performing order entry; procuring drugs; billing. You will carry out your job duties according to written procedures and guidelines based on pharmacy standards and regulatory requirements.
Schedule: This part time, nonexempt position will work between 20-24 hours/week initially, with the potential to become full time in the near future.
About the Facility: This brand new retail pharmacy is located within JFK Medical Center. The pharmacist will administer vaccinations, complete medication therapy management, along with some compounding. This pharmacy will service discharged inpatients, outpatients and employees. CPS® has partnered with the hospital to manage the day to day operations of this pharmacy. This position is an employee of CPS®.
About the Pharmacy: The pharmacy is open Monday-Friday from 7:30am-7:00pm, Saturday from 9:00am-5:00pm, and closed on Sunday.
- High School Diploma or GED
- Recent experience in a hospital or retail pharmacy
- Current New Jersey Pharmacy Technician License in good standing
- Proficient computer skills including experience using Microsoft Office
- Effective communications skills; verbal and written
- (Flu) Influenza-required for hire between October 1st - March 31st
- COVID-19 Vaccination
