Cardiac Cath Lab Medical Director/ Interventional Cardiologist – Relish the opportunity to practice in Southern NJ, just outside Philadelphia at Cooper University Health Care.

Join Cooper University Health Care, the only Academic Tertiary Level Full Service Medical Center in Southern NJ. Very busy program with thriving University Cardiology practice. All aspects of general cardiology, including busy inpatient program and outpatient cardiology office in Camden as well as 7 large satellite offices in surrounding suburban communities.

Cooper has high-volume invasive and interventional programs, full-service structural heart program including LAAC, mitral repair, and TAVR. High-volume cardiac surgical program with vast experience in standard coronary surgery, valve surgery, and an active ECMO program and strong collaboration with the interventional team. Active process to develop active heart failure program with plans to begin LVAD program this year.

This position is for the leader of the Cardiac Cath Lab program with direct supervision of the program, quality, and growth. The Heart program is poised to continue to grow over the next years with Cooper planning major capital growth on the main campus in Camden, NJ. Growing volume over the last several years with strong referral network in the region. Current Cath lab director planning his retirement.

Opportunity to join the faculty of Cooper Medical School at Rowan University on our campus. ACGME accredited fellowship with a total of 22 fellows in the program. Participate in conferences and teaching of medical students, residents, and cardiology fellows. Active credentialled Interventional Cardiology Fellowship with two fellows per year.

High volume of inpatient and outpatient echocardiography studies, TEEs, nuclear stress testing, and stress echocardiography. Extensive EP program with device implant, ablation, lead extraction, and active research program.

Cooper University Cardiology is part of Cooper Inspira Cardiac Care. This is a joint venture between Cooper University Health Care and Inspira Health designed to provide comprehensive care for the patients of Southern NJ. The affiliation includes more than 70 cardiac specialists and offers a comprehensive range of services.
