THE ROLE

As a Talent Acquisition Advisor, you'll play a crucial role in driving the recruitment process for our global teams across North America, with a focus on Canada. Your primary objective will be to attract and retain top talent by developing and executing effective recruitment strategies tailored to the job market. You'll be instrumental in identifying and securing the right talent to meet the organization's needs for our teams such as Accounting, Finance, Marketing, Real Estate and many more!

WHAT YOU'LL DO
  • Develop and implement effective recruitment strategies to attract top talent, considering factors like job market trends, candidate demographics, and organizational needs.
  • Utilize various platforms such as job boards, social media, and professional networks to reach potential candidates.
  • Proactively source candidates through various channels including online databases, social media platforms, referrals, and direct outreach.
  • Review resumes, conduct phone screens, and assess candidates' qualifications and fit for specific roles.
  • Schedule and coordinate interviews between candidates and hiring managers, ensuring a smooth and efficient process for all parties involved.
  • Maintain ongoing communication with candidates throughout the recruitment process, providing updates, gathering feedback, and addressing concerns to ensure a positive candidate experience.
  • Extend job offers to selected candidates, negotiate terms of employment, and facilitate the offer acceptance process.
  • Collaborate with HR and hiring managers to ensure a seamless transition for new hires, providing information and support during the onboarding process.
  • Track recruitment metrics and analyze data to evaluate the effectiveness of recruitment strategies and make data-driven recommendations for improvement.
  • Contribute to building and promoting the employer brand through various channels, highlighting the organization's culture, values, and opportunities for professional growth.
WHAT YOU'LL NEED

We want you to join our team! Here's what we're looking for:

Education

  • Bachelor's degree in human resource management or equivalent experience.

Experience:

  • 3 to 5 of experience in talent acquisition; particularly in professional and management roles with a high volume of positions.
  • Previous experience in a multi-location or national setting, with a demonstrated track record of success in sourcing and hiring top talent.

Knowledge and skills:

  • Experience working with an ATS, CRM, and strong knowledge of technology (i.e. LinkedIn Recruiter, Boolean search logic, Outlook, Web, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage with candidates effectively, and collaborate with hiring managers and stakeholders across different locations.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build rapport with candidates, hiring managers, and external partners, fostering positive relationships to facilitate the recruitment process.
  • Resourcefulness and creativity in overcoming recruitment challenges, such as sourcing hard-to-find talent or addressing candidate objections, with a solutions-oriented mindset.
  • Exceptional organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple requisitions simultaneously, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Flexibility and adaptability to navigate changing priorities, evolving business needs, and fluctuations in the talent market landscape.
  • Adaptable and are always looking for new, innovative ways to work and leverage new technologies

Language skills

  • Bilingualism required (French and English), both written and spoken, as the person will be called upon to serve English-speaking regions.
