Clinical Rehabilitation Liaison
Rivers Health
Point Pleasant, West Virginia

As the full-time, exempt Clinical Rehabilitation Liaison with CPS Solutions, LLC at Pleasant Valley Hospital, you will be responsible for maintaining positive relationships with current referral sources and identifying and developing new relationships with potential referral sources. You will use your clinical and sales expertise, while partnering with marketing, to promote Pleasant Valley Hospital Inpatient Rehabilitation (IPR programs at partner hospitals). You will identify and assess future patients/residents for admission to the IPR program, taking into account the level of acuity aligning with Regional/National CMS outcomes expected from partner hospitals' clinical experts in the Inpatient Rehabilitation Unit.  

Schedule: This full-time, exempt position will work at least 32 hours per week, primarily Monday-Friday, day shift, with evenings and/or weekends as needed.

About the Rehabilitation Department: Hours of operation are 7:30am-6:00pm.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a related Healthcare field, or an Associate's degree with 3+ years related experience 
  • Licensed as a Physical, Occupational, or Respiratory Therapist; Speech Language Pathologist; Therapy Assistant; or Registered Nurse 
  • 2 years of experience as a Clinician in a healthcare environment 
  • 1 year of experience as a Clinical Liaison or sales position within a healthcare setting preferred
  • Ability to develop and maintain good working relationships
  • Ability to work in high-volume environments while maintaining high-quality standards
  • Ability to respond positively to the needs of patients and families
  • Ability to address customer concerns in a private, respectful and calm manner
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency in medical terminology
  • Proficiency with computer applications and office equipment

Hospital Requirements: 

  • 2-Step (PPD) TB Skin Test 
  • (MMR) Measles, Mumps and Rubella or A Blood Titer proving immunity
  • Hep B Series or proof of immunity
  • (Flu) Influenza-required for hire between Oct 1st-April 30th 
  • COVID Vaccine - Full (required)
