Staff Pharmacist

As a full time, exempt CPS Solutions, LLC Staff Pharmacist at Ozarks Healthcare, you will fill orders with accuracy; check technician-prepared products before release; maintain the security of pharmacy and controlled substances; enter orders and patient information with accuracy; aid in the training of new staff; update the Pharmacy Manager about the daily activities of the pharmacy, and aid the Pharmacy Manager in maintaining the pharmacy.
Schedule: This full time exempt position will work 32 hours a week from 8:30am-5:00pm
About the Facility: Ozarks Healthcare is a Joint Commission accredited, 114-bed acute care hospital and not-for-profit medical referral center with over 1,300 employees, serving an eight-county area in south-central Missouri and north-central Arkansas. Services include family medicine, specialty clinics, rehabilitation, home care, interventional cardiac care, open-heart surgery, oncology, neurosurgery, and cancer treatment. CPS Solutions, LLC has partnered with the hospital to manage the day-to-day operations of this department. This position is an employee of CPS Solutions, LLC.
About the Pharmacy: Pharmacy hours are Monday through Friday from 8:30 am-5:00 pm.
Required Qualifications:
- Pharmacy degree (BS or PharmD) from an ACPE accredited school of pharmacy; PharmD preferred
- Current Missouri Pharmacist license in good standing
- Experience as a Pharmacist in a hospital or retail setting preferred
- Ability to work independently, set priorities, make critical decisions, and respond to client concerns
- Demonstrated accuracy and timeliness in a work setting
- Experience using computer applications including word processing, spreadsheets, and pharmacy information systems
- Effective communications skills; verbal and written
Hospital Requirements (may be required):
- (PPD) TB Skin Test - Proof of negative TB skin test within the last 12 months
- (MMR) Measles, Mumps and Rubella or A Blood Titer proving immunity
- Varicella - (2) documented doses or A Blood Titer proving
- Hep B3 Series (or declination)
- (Flu) Influenza required for hire between Oct 1st-April 30th
- COVID Vaccine
