We want everyone who works at CVS Health to feel empowered by the role they play in transforming our culture and accelerating our ability to innovate and deliver solutions to make health care more personal, convenient and affordable. *POSITION SUMMARY*: The Executive Director for Process Excellence & Innovation will play a critical role as part of the senior leadership team of the M&A Integration Group, spearheading transformative initiatives with a focus on value creation throughout the enterprise to elevate our operational effectiveness. This leader will direct the development of Excellence & Innovation value creation and strategy execution plans, partnering with enterprise shared service teams and business units to identify and execute on these programs. *KEY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:* * Develop and implement a comprehensive process improvement strategy that aligns with the organization's goals and objectives. * Hire, lead and mentor a high-performing team dedicated to continuous improvement, innovation, and the successful execution of projects. * Recruit, train, mentor, coach and develop collaborative leaders across the organization that will identify, prioritize, and execute value creation and/or strategy execution projects to create an exceptional return on investment. * Collaborate cross-functionally to identify, prioritize, and implement innovative solutions that contribute to overall operational excellence. * Coordinate with stakeholders to plan, prioritize, resources and manage program financials while engaging senior leadership on the health of the programs and/or platforms. * Establish clear objectives and monitor key results that identify progress towards the achievement of our goals and their link to business outcomes. * Harness advanced data analytics to identify opportunities for efficiency gains and operational optimization across various functions. * Leverage automation solutions to enhance process scalability, improve quality, and reduce manual intervention to accelerate significant value. * Establish a robust reporting framework to provide actionable insights, fostering data-driven decision-making at all levels; including maintaining a dashboard that encompasses project-level metrics for regular reporting. * Administer a project valuation methodology, forecasting financial contributions in collaboration with finance, project teams, champions, process owners and business unit leadership. *REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: * * 5+ years developing & implementing process improvement programs with verified value created. * 10+ years of people leadership experience, including team development and staff accountability. * Expertise in portfolio development, program execution and change management frameworks. * Expertise in program level financials, including acquiring project-level investments, budget management and delivering finance-verified program value. * Significant experience working in a large, heavily matrixed organization – preferably in healthcare * Exceptional leadership and collaboration skills with the ability to inspire and guide teams towards achieving strategic objectives. * In-depth knowledge of best practices in process improvement, innovation, and change management. * Strong knowledge and application of core, adjacent, and disruptive innovation principles, methods and practices * Expertise in Project Management software & MS Office Tools (i.e. PPT, Word, Excel, Teams) *PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:* * Lean Six Sigma Black Belt * Project Management Professional (PMP) * Master's degree *EDUCATION:* * Bachelor's degree *Pay Range* The typical pay range for this role is: $131,500.00 - $303,200.00 This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls.  The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors.  This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.  This position also includes an award target in the company's equity award program.    In addition to your compensation, enjoy the rewards of an organization that puts our heart into caring for our colleagues and our communities.  The Company offers a full range of medical, dental, and vision benefits.  Eligible employees may enroll in the Company's 401(k) retirement savings plan, and an Employee Stock Purchase Plan is also available for eligible employees.  The Company provides a fully-paid term life insurance plan to eligible employees, and short-term and long term disability benefits.
