Applies in-depth knowledge of writing, editing, and project management of the organization's marketing initiatives and communications materials such as publications, marketing materials, ads, and speeches. A successful candidate will play a critical role in creating and helping to execute detailed marketing project plans, as well as, the strategic messaging and presentation of RFP responses and content and flow of finalist meeting presentations. The Marketing Communications Project Manager continuously strives to increase their knowledge of Aetna Group Medicare capabilities, products offered, and industry best practices to develop thoughtful, strategic, compelling messaging and slides for marketing and sales materials. Also develops strong work relationships with B2B Marketing and Sales Enablement team members, proposal team, salespeople and SMEs to support business goals to win and retain business. In addition, this role will monitor work requests for team support, provide project management oversight for key marketing projects and pre-RFP sales strategy work and will maintain the Single Source of Truth content (primarily proof points) for Group Retiree Solutions. *Position Summary* *#GRS* * Establishes and implements programs and innovative initiatives for the organization to advance Marketing Communications Account Management initiatives. * Forecasts changes within the Marketing Communications Account Management industry, conducts business impact assessments, and develops modification strategies with the aid of process improvement methodologies. * Consults with customers and external partners on marketing communications initiatives critical to achieving the organization's business goals. * Manages resources, production, and distribution of marketing communications projects to ensure deadlines pertaining to budgets and evaluations are met. * Develops processes to improve desktop publishing, print production, and fulfillment services for marketing communications projects. * Establishes strategy for predictive modeling and analysis of marketing developments in support of new and existing initiatives. * Coaches more junior colleagues in techniques, processes, and responsibilities. * Work on writing assignments varying in length and detail supporting strategic, functional, and operational topics across the entire proposal * Collaborate with team members, salespeople and Subject Matter Experts to outline and prepare final proposal materials outside of the RFP responses. * Interview SMEs to identify and collect pertinent information for compelling responses, recap past performances, and develop other content to establish a first draft * Collaborate with graphic design resources, including Creative & Design Manager, on graphics and visualizations * Develop creative strategies that effectively articulate customer needs and win themes critical to generating business goals. * Maintain expert understanding of Aetna Group Medicare products and services * Actively engage in team meetings and openly accept and share new ideas to drive innovation and creativity * Support and drive ongoing development of internal process and procedures, including scorecards, quality business reports, style guides, and internal measures for performance *Requirements* * 2+ years business to business healthcare marketing * 2+ years Medicare marketing * 2+ years creating sales and marketing materials * 2+ years' experience working in copywriting * 3+ years managing complex projects * Adept at problem solving and decision-making skills * Adept at collaboration and teamwork *Preferred Qualifications* * Demonstrated background and knowledge of Medicare products, services and the market landscape * Excellent written and verbal communications skills, including copywriting * Demonstrated ability to see the big picture and make connections between customer needs and objectives and content development * Knowledge and understanding of Microsoft Office products including SharePoint, Word, Excel, Teams, and PowerPoint * Superior organizational, project management, analytical, and innovative problem-solving skills * Strong relationship building and influencing skills * Self-starter with the ability to work well independently and as part of a team * Ability to travel – up to 10% *Education* Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a relevant field preferred *Pay Range* The typical pay range for this role is: $63,300.00 - $152,600.00This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls.  The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors.  This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.    In addition to your compensation, enjoy the rewards of an organization that puts our heart into caring for our colleagues and our communities.  The Company offers a full range of medical, dental, and vision benefits.  Eligible employees may enroll in the Company's 401(k) retirement savings plan, and an Employee Stock Purchase Plan is also available for eligible employees.  The Company provides a fully-paid term life insurance plan to eligible employees, and short-term and long term disability benefits.
