Position Summary: Caremark LLC, a CVS Health company, is hiring for the following role in Woonsocket, RI: Senior Data Scientist to formulate and apply mathematical and computational modeling methods towards data extraction and manipulation. Duties include: use statistical analyses to evaluate scenarios and make predictions on future outcomes to solve complex business problems and support decision making; develop, validate, and execute algorithms and predictive models to investigate problems, detect patterns, and recommend solutions; explore, examine, and interpret large volumes of data in various forms; perform analyses of structured and unstructured data to solve business problems using advanced statistical techniques and mathematical analyses; develop data structures and pipelines to organize, collect and standardize data that helps generate insights and addresses reporting needs; organize, collect, and standardize data visualization techniques to communicate analytical results, generate insights, address reporting results, and support business decisions; evaluate the data needs of assigned projects and assure the integrity of the data; work on existing data and recommend additional sources of data for improvements; and document projects, including business objectives, data gathering and processing, and detailed set of results and analytical metrics. Telecommuting available. - Requirements: Master's degree (or foreign equivalent) in Data Science, Business Analytics, Information Systems, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field, and two (2) years of experience in the job offered or a related occupation. Requires two (2) years of experience with each of the following: Teradata, Oracle RDBMS, or PostgreSQL; R and Python; Unix or Shell scripting; implementing extract, transform and load (ETL) automation; SAS or SQL; and running linear, generalized linear, and non-linear mixed-effects models to analyze data generated from varied design structures. Telecommuting available. Pay Range: $98717.00/year to $196000.00/year. Multiple Openings.
