We want everyone who works at CVS Health to feel empowered by the role they play in transforming our culture and accelerating our ability to innovate and deliver solutions to make health care more personal, convenient and affordable. *Position Summary:* CVS Health is seeking an experienced, initiative-taking and highly motivated professional to join our team as Senior Manager, Systems Engineering part of the Infrastructure Operations & Service Delivery organization. You will be technology focused and play a pivotal role in establishing and maintaining service delivery standards, processes, and best practices, ensuring that technical programs are executed efficiently with a focus on continuous improvement. You will be aligned to a specific business unit within CVS Health and will gain an understanding of the business unit's requirements from IT infrastructure and operations. You will also lead and spearhead IT Infrastructure initiated programs such as technology modernization, cloud, vulnerability management and other programs in support of availability, scalability, and resiliency. This role requires a blend of technical expertise, strategic thinking, and effective communication skills. *Key Responsibilities and Skills:* Technical Knowledge * Working knowledge of IT Infrastructure related technologies and operations (including but not limited to Operating Systems and S * Servers, Storage, Database, Application/Web Servers). * Knowledge of networking concepts (including but not limited to switches, routers, load balancers and firewalls). * Versed in application and software technology stacks to have informed discussions with application teams and application owners. * Working knowledge of modern technologies including Cloud, DevOps, Microservices. Process Improvements * Transform traditional processes and tools to streamline operations and assist with a continuous improvement program with focus on identifying and implementing best practices and developing improvements. * Leverage the existing tools or put in place new ones to ensure effective execution of projects. * Design of repeatable & predictable processes for initiation, tracking, governance, review and delivery of programs and projects. * Automation of processes using modern DevSecOps foundations. * Demonstrated ability to develop, streamline and execute the service delivery processes. * Strong analytical and problem resolution skills; able to multitask and prioritize effectively. Program Management * Establish relationships with key partners, work collaboratively across technical, application and business teams. * Drive programs from ideation to delivery managing budget, timelines, and quality goals. Identify, analyze, mitigate, and proactively respond to project, financial and operational risks. * Create short term (3 months+) and long term (6 months+) views on planned and anticipated programs. * Create program plans showing the WHY (business justification), WHAT (scope, technical resources, risks, risk mitigation plan), WHO (stakeholders & human resources), and WHEN (timeline) and communication plans. * Create trackers showing requirement backlog, priorities per sprint and reporting (documents/presentations/spreadsheets) with project progress, blockers, risks/issues and mitigations. * Participate in how budget and staff are allocated for the program and maintain time frames, budget estimates and status reports. * Execute delivery process so that the distributed resources can work as an effective, objective driven and collaborative team. * Strong interpersonal and facilitation skills; ability to forge consensus among competing constituents on critical and time sensitive issues. * Versed in any agile and waterfall project methodologies. * Identify and update stakeholders on project progress and tactfully raise issues and blockers to the right stakeholders. * Define key metrics to present to stakeholders, analyze data and create easy to understand charts and dashboards. Communications * Strong effective communications (both verbal and written) that is tailored to audience types with proven track record of presentations to senior leadership. * Conduct collaborative discussions with stakeholders to gain consensus on program charter, timelines, and risks. * Provide leadership with clear and concise reporting that articulates the progress to date, plan to completion and risks/issues. *Required Qualifications:* * 7 years of total experience within Information Technology * 5+ years as a Technical Project Manager, specifically in IT infrastructure and cloud related projects. * 3+ years in hands on experience in IT infrastructure components, including servers, storage, network devices, and cloud services (Microsoft Azure and Google Cloud). *Preferred Qualifications* * Knowledge of Application and Software technologies. * Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. * Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams. * Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. * Project Management Certifications (e.g., PMP) are a plus. *Education* Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience (High School Diploma and 4 years relevant experience). *Pay Range* The typical pay range for this role is: $124,372.50 - $247,200.00 This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls.  The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors.  This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.  This position also includes an award target in the company's equity award program.    In addition to your compensation, enjoy the rewards of an organization that puts our heart into caring for our colleagues and our communities.  The Company offers a full range of medical, dental, and vision benefits.  Eligible employees may enroll in the Company's 401(k) retirement savings plan, and an Employee Stock Purchase Plan is also available for eligible employees.  The Company provides a fully-paid term life insurance plan to eligible employees, and short-term and long term disability benefits.
