The ATF Engineer will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining automated test scripts to validate ServiceNow configurations, customizations, and integrations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software testing, proficiency in ServiceNow development, and expertise in implementing and optimizing automated test suites using the ServiceNow ATF. *Primary duties and responsibilities* - Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using the ServiceNow Automated Test Framework (ATF) to validate ServiceNow configurations, customizations, and integrations. - Collaborate with stakeholders to define test requirements, acceptance criteria, and test scenarios, ensuring comprehensive coverage of functional and non-functional requirements. - Configure and execute automated test suites within the ServiceNow platform, analyzing test results, and identifying defects and areas for improvement. - Integrate automated tests into continuous integration/continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines to enable automated regression testing and ensure the stability of ServiceNow deployments. - Develop and maintain reusable test libraries, test data sets, and test environments to support efficient and scalable test automation efforts. - Provide guidance and support to development teams on best practices for writing testable code, implementing test automation frameworks, and integrating automated testing into the software development lifecycle. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot and resolve issues identified during automated testing, ensuring timely resolution and effective communication of test results. - Stay current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and ServiceNow platform updates related to automated testing, and recommend innovative solutions to enhance testing efficiency and effectiveness. *Required Skills:* - 5+ years of experience in software testing, with a focus on test automation. - Proficiency in ServiceNow development, including hands-on experience with ServiceNow scripting (JavaScript), ServiceNow APIs, and custom applications. - Strong understanding of software testing principles, methodologies, and best practices. - Experience designing and implementing automated test scripts using testing frameworks such as Selenium, Cypress, or ServiceNow ATF. - Familiarity with continuous integration/continuous delivery (CI/CD) practices and tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or Azure DevOps. - Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail, with the ability to analyze complex systems and identify test scenarios and edge cases. - Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders. *Preferred Skills:* - ServiceNow certifications, such as Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS), Certified Application Developer (CAD), or Certified System Administrator (CSA). - ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS) or equivalent ServiceNow. - Experience with behavior-driven development (BDD) and test-driven development (TDD) practices. - Knowledge of software quality assurance (SQA) processes, test management tools, and defect tracking systems. - Familiarity with performance testing, security testing, and other non-functional testing techniques. - Experience with version control systems such as Git for managing test automation code repositories. *Education:* - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent experience *BUSINESS OVERVIEW* Bring your heart to CVS Health Every one of us at CVS Health shares a single, clear purpose: Bringing our heart to every moment of your health.
